Wire Works!

I must admit this challenge is not always the easiest for me.  I like using the Flower Soft wires but whenenver I am told I have to use something I feel such pressure.  For todays design I made a tree branch by coloring the wires with a copic & then adding some Ultra Fine Sage & Christmas Green Flower Soft for the leaves.  The little bird & sentiment are both from different Stampin' Up sets.  Be sure to check out the rest of the Flower Girls creations here.

Happy Spring!

For today's project I used the Flower Soft Bicycle topper along with the Sizzix picket fence die.  What a beautiful image and such a quick & easy creation.  I also used Lavender, Summer & Ultra Fine Sage Flower Soft on this project.  Please check out the rest of the Flower Girls creations here.

Birthday Cake Bella

I just love Bella Stamps.  I don't think I will ever get tired of using them.  I remember when they first came out I couldn't wait to get my hands on a selection of them.  This one is called cakeabella.  I used a couple different embossing folders, my nestabilities, copics & a touch a spica to the candle "flame".  Very simple card yet one of my favorites for a girly birthday.  The patterned paper is from My Minds Eye six by six packs, which I absolutely love.  I also used my copics to color the gem stones to match perfectly.

Kitchen Curtains

For the last couple days I have been running all over town trying to find new curtains that I like for my kitchen.  Who knew this was going to be such a hard task!?!  My problem is that I have a larger double window in the same room that I wanted regular panels for but then I also wanted a "matching" material for the smaller window above the sink.  I must say there are some awful "kitchen" curtains out there.  Do they think since it's the kitchen it has to be a total different style than the rest of our homes.  So after many purchases AND returns I decided to alter a panel & make the curtain that I really wanted.  I am thrilled with the end result & it "matches" the panels on the larger window perfectly.  The best part is I only spent $12.00 per panel at Lowes.  Yay . . . I love it & it was cost effective.  I can also untie the ties & drop the panel down if wanted.  My husband likes it too although he still doesn't know why I HAD to replace the old curtains, which I made about 10 years ago. Apparently he doesn't "get tired" of decor quite as quickly as I do.  LOL!

Here is what the original panel looked like:

FS Borders

For today's Flower Soft Challenge we were to use Flower Soft to create a border.
So here is my creation.

Isn't this little bunny the cutest?  And he cost a whole dollar.  Can't beat that!  I used Ultra Fine Sage Flower Soft on the Spellbinder "border".  I think it added a great touch to this cute little guy.
